Dinner party

I went to Sarah's dinner party on the weekend. It was a nice evening with good food and good company. I don't go out much without Lara and Husband at night so this was a nice change. It made me think I should do it more.

Duck pasta and orange and fennel salad were on the menu.

Sarah is a gifted cook. She does fancy things like tapas and moussaka and her chicken sandwich is very delicious, much better than what I am able to do. She inspired me to take more time and patience with cooking.

For dessert, we had a nice chocolate crepe cake another friend made. I was tired at the end of the night, and very sleepy the next day (unfortunately a work day).

Food does a wonderful job of bringing people together. Sharing good food with family and friends make the holiday season even more special!
