Lara had her first dental check-up last Monday. She was very excited about going - she kept asking me 'are we going to the dentist yet?' a few weeks before the event, but was a little nervous and quiet while we were there. The dentist started by letting Lara choose a pair of glasses and a tooth brush. Then a pink paste was applied while her teech were counted. Lara waved to the sharks/fish hangling off the ceiling, said hi to Larry the dental light and was facinated by the dental chair. I need to pay more attention to clean her teeth at the top as Dr Jane, the Dentist had to remove some plaque build-up there. A much anticipated visit that didn't seem to last very long at all!

You are so cute! I was six when I first visited a dentist. I was so scared then. But wonderfully, my Dad told me that finishing a dentist check-up was like beating a pirate on the sea. So was cheered up, and that time, I really felt the bravery in me. Just a simple memory of West Columbia – Dental check-ups then was hard for us kids. But now, I even had undergone 2 surgeries for dental implants! Lexington are really good!
Someday, I want to go back to West Columbia. Dentist here are needed. In a nutshell, just to inform, I am now a graduating dentistry student
